Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County is pleased to announce the appointment of Taylor Warner as its new Director of Resource Development.
In this role, Warner will oversee Habitat’s fundraising strategy, community partnerships, and donor engagement, helping to advance the organization’s mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
Warner brings nearly a decade of nonprofit fundraising and development experience to Habitat. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director, Community Events for Walk MS with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she managed fundraising efforts for multiple Walk MS events across Georgia, developed corporate partnerships, engaged volunteers, and cultivated meaningful donor relationships.
Warner joins Habitat during an exciting period of growth, following the successful inaugural Hammer & Ales event and the launch of The House That Hops Built, a year-round fundraising campaign supporting affordable homeownership in Schenectady County. Together, these initiatives have expanded Habitat’s reach, strengthened community partnerships, and generated strong community support for the organization’s mission.
To date, The House That Hops Built campaign has raised more than $315,000—over 78% of its $400,000 fundraising goal—with additional sponsorships, community partnerships, and fundraising initiatives planned throughout the year.
Warner’s appointment reflects Habitat’s continued investment in growing its fundraising efforts and strengthening the partnerships that make its mission possible.
