Welcome to Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County’s Community Builder Program! Help us reach our goal of 30 new $30 monthly donors by our 30th Anniversary on August 31st, 2023. We know…that’s a lot of 3o’s.

As a Community Builder, you’ll be helping families every month. Your recurring gift sustains our year-round building efforts, guaranteeing that the funds needed to buy construction materials are always available.

Q: Why $30/month?

A: Because 2023 marks our 30th year of building homes, communities and hope in Schenectady County. By committing to give $30/month, you’re helping to ensure that we can continue to work our mission. Also, it’s a lot easier to budget $30/month instead of $360/year. Those smaller, more manageable monthly gifts, when added up over the course of a year, have a huge impact.

Q: Can I give more than $30/month? 

A: Of course! Don’t let us stop you! 

Q: Can I give less than $30/month? 

A: Absolutely. All donations, big and small make a difference.  

Q: How does it work? 

A: When you click our donate button, you will be taken to our secure online donation page. Be sure to choose the option to make your donation a recurring gift and complete the information. Then each month your gift will automatically be transferred from your credit card to Habitat. There are no checks to write or letters to mail. You will receive a year-end tax receipt for your cumulative contributions.
