Rivers Casino team members volunteer for home-build for local family
SCHENECTADY, NY (August 5, 2026) – Rivers Casino team members will join Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County for a company build-day this Friday, August 7 as Habitat enters their 33rd year of building homes in Schenectady County. Rivers Casino team members will be working side-by-side with other habitat volunteers. Media are invited to attend for interviews, photos, and/or video from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
“It’s because of dedicated community partners like Rivers Casino that Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County can continue creating opportunities for local families to achieve the dream of homeownership,” said Kathy Fernandez, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County. “Over the past 33 years, together with our supporters, we have helped families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
