Easy ways to support Schenectady Habitat all year long

Amazon Smiles – Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases directly to Schenectady Habitat at no additional cost to you. Simply go to smile.amazon.com from your web browser on your computer or smart device and type in Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County, Inc. to select us as the recipient.

Goodshop – Who doesn’t love getting a great deal while online shopping? Goodshop is a service that provides all sorts of coupons to use on the internet. When you shop with Goodshop you get a great deal and you also get to choose a charitable organization to donate to!

Donate your vehicle – ‘Cars for Homes‘ program takes donated cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, RV’s and other vehicles and sells them through automobile auctions, recyclers or salvage yards to raise funds that build simple, decent homes for Habitat. Sales of vehicles benefit the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and community where the donation is made. Call Habitat for Humanity Cars for Homes at 1-877-277-HFHI (4344) toll free, or at http://www.carsforhomes.org. We’ll have more information on our website in the near future!!

ReStore – Remodeling, cleaning, down-sizing or just getting organized? Whatever your project, don’t let the items you no longer need end up in your local landfill. Habitat ReStores divert hundreds of tons from landfills each year, accepting hard-to-dispose-of items including new and used furniture, appliances and surplus building materials. Best of all, proceeds from the sale of donated goods help families build a foundation for the future. You never know what treasure you’ll find at ReStore!! ReStore Gift Card – purchase a gift card and receive 20% off the value of the card (while promotion lasts)

Matching Gifts – Your employer may have a program to match your donations! Consult your HR department to see if your company participates.

Recurring Donations – We are genuinely touched by our supporters who believe enough in our vision to give monthly. Recurring contributions mean that our work continues and more families can attain a safe, affordable place to call home. To sign up for a monthly donation, please visit our website and select “monthly” under donation on our online form.
